Today our boy turned 1! We so wish he could have been home with us to celebrate this momentous occasion, but we hold hope that he is in caring hands until we can be with him. We had a little celebration tonight after dinner. Even Josie, our beloved schnoodle, got in on the action. While we're anxious about the road ahead, we're comforted by the idea that this is the last birthday Silas will have to spend without his parents.
