Ear Tube Update

We took Silas to the ENT yesterday, and lo and behold, both of Silas' shiny new ear tubes are clogged with ear gunk.  The doctor said he hasn't seen that in all his years of practice.   Seems our Silas is quite the trailblazer!  The good news is there doesn't appear to be any fluid behind the eardrums, so the blockage isn't likely to lead to another infection any time soon. We have to try two weeks of ear drops to try to loosen it.  If that doesn't work, they will either do another procedure to clear the blockage or replace the tubes with bigger ones.  Stay tuned...  :)
