I'm happy to report that Silas is finally back to being his delightful old self. He is finally feeling better, that's obvious. He's slept through the last 4 or 5 nights, and he is so much less fussy during the day. Hooray!!
This weekend, we kept it low key. Silas starts his new daycare on Monday, so we had to shop for his lunch stuff, and get all his laundry done. We spent most of the weekend at home except for a couple of short outings. On Saturday morning, we had a playdate at our neighborhood playground. Including us, there were eleven adults and eleven kids! It's so great to know so many people with kids around the same age. We had a lot of fun, but it was so hot, we only stayed for about an hour. The temps were only in the high 80s, but with the humidity, the "feels like" temp was 105!! Brutal!
After the park, and some serious rehydration, we went to Costco and the grocery store. We found some great toy deals for Silas, which we intended to save for Christmas until the checkout clerk brought the awesome new Caterpillar tractor in our cart to Silas' attention. He played with it all the way home, and it was still in the box! Here of some pictures of Silas and Josie enjoying the early Christmas present!

I can definitely tell you are fattening him up - look at those chubby cheeks! Well, chubby compared to a month ago. Good luck at the new daycare. I am sure Silas will flourish!
ReplyDeleteSilas wants to know when he's going to get to see his Aunt Taysha and Uncle Aaron again! He misses them! ;)
